A Country House wedding at Loseley Park can only be a beautiful thing…
With its grand stately home and manicured gardens, it may not be the first place you think of when thinking of a relaxed country wedding but that exactly what this was. The day was filled with the laughter of children, the chatter of friends and the love of family, not to mention beautiful sunshine and stunning rustic surroundings.
We started off at Jess’s house, getting ready with the girls before heading off for a church ceremony. However, this was not just any church ceremony….when the vicar is your dad and you get to choose the cutest old church to get married in, it’s definitely something special.
This little church was one of the loveliest I’ve seen, with such a rural charm and an intimate feel. The service itself was full of laughs and really brought home what community, family, kindest and love is all about. After the ceremony the guests were treated to yummy tea and cake before we all headed off for the reception at the grand Loseley Park in Guildford, Surrey.
It was here that everyone was able to enjoy the sunshine in the magnificent gardens and where I got to have a lovely little walk around with Jess and Barney, the bride and groom. Taking in the amazing gardens and getting a few romantic couple photos along the way.
After the photos were done and the sun was disappearing we all headed to the barn in the grounds, where everything was ready for speeches, food and dancing.
The whole day was really family orientated and even in such lavish surroundings, was such an intimate and personal celebration ♥
