A Kent Country Wedding at Bradbourne House

A Kent country wedding at Bradbourne House in the middle of summer was exactly how I imagined it would be….

Greg and Kirsty knew exactly what they wanted for their wedding and I was so happy they’d picked me to photograph it!  Not only were they both so lovely but they had also spent time really looking for the right photographer and made it clear that I was the one for them.  It’s so lovely when someone appreciates your work and puts their complete trust in you to do an amazing job for them.

This gorgeous wedding was described to me as having a hint of  ‘Vintage/Victorian’ and the venue couldn’t have been more perfectly fitting, the photos speak for themselves I think.  We started out at the bride and grooms family home for bridal preparations, which was fun and relaxed. Kirsty looked stunning in her dress, as the bridesmaids reactions confirmed. Then onto a heartfelt church Ceremony at All Saints Church in Frindsbury, before heading to the reception venue, Bradbourne House.

The venue was stunning and so beautifully maintained, you can’t be impressed by the decor and the grounds(which we made full use of later!).  The sun was shining all day(it was bloody hot actually lol) but the heat didn’t deter everyone from sitting out and enjoying the Kent countryside we were surround by.

As I mentioned previously, Greg and Kirsty were very keen on their photography and so after a few formal shots for the records(which also gave us a few laughs), we explored as much of the grounds as we had time to.  Allowing the newly married couple some time to themselves and enabling me to get so many beautiful photographs of the the two of them, it was hard to choose which ones to include in the final set….so they have them all!  Because we had so much time and we were all so relaxed it gave me the opportunity to try something new, that I’d been dying to give a go – SMOKE BOMBS! This made for a really romantic atmosphere and although I just get my couples to interact as they would naturally, these guys were on fire and so obviously in love they just made these images smokin’ hot!

Day was progressing to evening, so everything inside was prepared for a night of celebrations, including the setting up of the most beautiful sweet table I have ever seen and therefore took quite a few photos of….haha  Kirsty and Greg then cut their stunning cake, which was so simple and classic but at the same time unusual with its intricate detail and flowers.

The first dance was so romantic in the setting provided, these two looked like classic hollywood movie stars, in love and happy.

I just loved this little family and seeing how loved they were by all their friends and family made for a wonderful, love filled day…

What they said: ♥

“I want to start off by saying thank you to Denise. Denise was Amazing straight from the start!
She came out to meet us and discuss what she wanted! Straight from our first meeting I knew she was the photographer for us! She just got us as a couple.
I loved how she went out of her way to come and meet us at the venue to discuss the kind of photos we wanted. All in all I think we met up about three times to discuss what we wanted and kept in contact about the sort of images we had in mind.
The photos that she captured from our day are just stunning! It captured our wedding completely as well as looking like pictures from a glossy wedding mag. Denise got all of the little moments as well as the big ones!
Myself and my husband are beyond happy with everything that Denise did! She even made my husband enjoy having his photo taken.
Thank you so so much for every shot (there was over 1000) you took as they are all amazing! Honestly if you’re thinking of booking Denise don’t think anymore, just do it as you will be so happy that you did!”
