This time last year I was returning from one of the best weekends of my life!
The bride and groom made the weekend as magical as it could have been for all their friends and family and I was lucky enough to be invited to be part of it. Here are just a few of the moments I captured from that weekend.
The castle itself was spectacular, I would love to revisit as there just wasn’t enough to time to see it all, it was huuuuuuge! What I did see however was stunning. The beautiful historic rooms where everyone was getting ready had such character and felt so romantic, with that Italian light bursting through the windows. Salma, the bride looked so beautiful with her Monique Lhuillier gown and Sophia Webster sparkling princess shoes(I was mesmerised by those shoes! lol). The pretty courtyard where the ceremony was held and which was overlooked by the grand castle walls and the visitors walking along them, was the stuff of fairytales. Following the ceremony guests sat out on the terrace overlooking the rolling hills of Italy’s most picturesque countryside, after which several courses were consumed deep down in the atmospheric rooms of the castle. Only to be followed by jazz in the evening sun on the terrace and a crazy rave and cocktails in what I will describe as the dungeons!!!!!
An amazing wedding beyond description but filled with fun, love, family, friends, sunshine, elegance, beauty and a real spirit of freedom and enjoyment.
Photographing this wedding at Castello di Vigoleno in Italy, was more amazing than I could have imagined and I can’t wait to photograph my next Italian wedding!
Happy Anniversary Graham & Salma, much love ♥
