I finally have some time to blog about some of the amazing weddings I was privileged to photograph this year, starting with Paul and Meena’s fusion wedding at Eastwell Manor, Kent!
These guys booked me well in advance so it was a while before I saw them again but I couldn’t forget them. Even though they gave me a grilling on our meeting 😉 with a very well prepared list of questions, they were just so smiley with a great sense of humour, I knew straight away they were going to be a great couple to work with!
Eastwell Manor is grand in so many ways but also has a very rustic charm about it and on this particular spring day it was a beautiful setting for an outdoor wedding. There were bright flowers, classic roses and happy faces for the ceremony itself, surround by beautiful countryside views. For the main part of the day Meena wore a stunning red outfit, only changing after the first dance into a cute 50’s style wedding dress.
The day went amazingly and was totally relaxed and fun filled. The thing about a fusion wedding is, nobody really knows what to expect as it’s so individual to the couple and family as to which elements of what are included. It’s so exciting and new for me, the guests and the often the couple! Meena and Paul made their day perfect for them and their guests, bringing both their personalities together.
Keeping the day reasonably traditional yet relaxed we were then all treated to a surprise, ending the day the with most amazing Bhangra Dancers to entertain us all, to which I can only say WOW…..
Here are just a few of my favourite images from the day ♥
