A spring wedding at Nettlestead Place, the perfect season for this stunning location.
I loooooove this venue so much, its just so pretty! So when Elizabeth and Lee got in touch and asked me to photograph their spring wedding at Nettlestead Place, I pretty much bit their hand off. Then I find out the reception is at Elizabeths gorgeous family home in Paddock Wood and realised just how special their day would be.
The day started at the gorgeous family barn which was renovated, adapted and made into the beautiful family home it is now by Elizabeths parents. Just hearing her mum and dad talk about the journey they’ve been on making this place the home it is and seeing the amount of love that has gone into it, was truly heart warming. I couldn’t think of a better place for a bride to get ready for her big day, especially when surround with close family and very special friends.
The gardens here left me spoilt for choice when it came to photographing details, so many flowers and personal touches everywhere. It had a real rustic feel and to add to it, the gift of an oak swing, engraved with Lee and Elizabeths names and wedding date ♥ I can see why the couple chose Nettlestead for their ceremony, it has the very same feel….
Nettlestead was a gorgeous as I remembered from my last visit and it was an absolute joy to be back in such glorious weather. After an intimate ceremony inside, we all enjoyed the sunshine and as always at this venue, too many pretty spots to choose from for photographs.
Back at The Barn, there was a stunning marquee set up in the gardens, decorated with brightly coloured pom poms, flowers and paper birds, along with a wine theme, perfect for an english garden party!
The day finished by treating us to with a beautiful sunset, after which the dancing commenced!
